1 – JOB DESCRIPTION
Assistant to the Section Head in some of the management and academic tasks.
2 – REPORTING
Reports to the Section Head
3 – MAIN TASKS
A – On the Management level:
- Helps the Section Head in elaborating the weekly programs as well as the tests and exams papers and in printing them.
- Distributes memos and circulars to teachers and students
- Organizes and prints out lists of teachers’ and students’ names
- Provides and distributes school supplies and materials to the students
- Takes care of the aisles decoration in cooperation with the students and teachers according to the topics and circumstances
- Takes care of sick students, contacting the parents in order to drive them home if necessary, and in serious cases calls for the school nurse or doctor,
- Registers the name of absent teachers on the class registry and informs the Section Head in case of repeated absence accordingly.
- Registers the presence and absence of teachers especially for the settlement of their transportation expenses.
- Puts in order the tests and exams papers, keeping a copy thereof for the archives.
- Receives the marks notebook from each teacher and registers them on the management school report.
- Registers on a special notebook the number of copies to be photocopied to the teachers and students together with the Head’s agreement and proceeds to their draw.
- Attends general meetings as well as those concerning her tasks and the section he/ she belongs to.
- Provides the section with academic clarification tools as well as school supplies after agreement of the Head.
- Takes care of telephone communications related to the section.
- Adopts a special procedure for keeping documentations and files.
B – On the educational level:
- Assists the supervisor in keeping order during morning prayers in the aisles, and peace in the playground.
- Assists the supervisor in punishing breaches to the good order, especially related to the external aspect of the students.
- Keeps amicable and respectful relations with the students and helps them abide by the rules efficiently by creating a healthy ambience that contributes to their growth.
- Accompanies the students to church for confession.
- Does not replace absent teachers but motivates the students, when necessary, to do the work sent to them by the teachers earnestly.

- Active
- Masters at least one foreign language besides Arabic
